a Faith Giving Campaign to Love God and Others.
(Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 JOHN 4:7)
In this season of JC3’s life, we desire to honor our God above everything else and faithfully invest to advance the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. We invite you to commit yourself to this Time to Give, to Grow, and to Go into our city as followers of Christ. The Daring Faith Campaign will challenge us to grow in our faith over the next 24 months and to raise the funds necessary to expand our building to reach more for Christ and see changed lives! Here is how you can prayerfully consider to be a part of what God is calling JC3 to do.
1. TO GIVE- You have great opportunities to give of your resources and gifts God has blessed you with. This is an eternal investment in sowing seeds of faith, building relationships and thereby the reward is more than you can imagine.
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him- 1 Corinthians 2:9"
We invite you to serve in many different areas of need and to prayerfully consider a sacrificial financial giving to the expansion of JC3 building. Click HERE to find the serving opportunities
2. TO GROW– You have ample opportunities to plug into a life group to be disciples and followers of the true King Jesus. We have online and in-person groups for couples, couples with children, men’s, women’s, Celebrate Recovery, online. We cannot grow without friends!
"Philip found Nathaniel and told him. "We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also write- Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." Nazareth! Can anything good come from there? Nathaniel asked. " Come and See," said Philip- John 1:45-46"
Wherever you are in your life, we want you to grow deeper in your faith of knowing Christ as your Savior and Lord and His great sacrificial love for you. Click HERE if you want to learn and be a part of a life group that fits your schedule.
3. TO GO- As disciples of Christ we are called to go out and reach others, baptizing and making disciples of all nations.
"Therefore, Go and Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you-Matthew 28:19
You have several opportunities to go and serve our city, partnering with local non-profit organizations to live out your faith (Mark 4:8). Click HERE if you want to learn and serve in missional opportunities.
This is the Time to sow, grow and yield a plentiful harvest and we need each of you to commit to this mission of Jesus as we GO forward! (Matthew 9:35-38).
This is the Time to see miracles of many grace-changed lives, including yours! Join us in prayer for what God is doing through JC3 to advance His Kingdom.
JC3 EXPANSION PLAN & 3 MILLION
The debt is approximately $500,000. We currently have $288,000 in the building fund. Therefore, we need 212,000 to pay off our debt.
The $3 million includes the $500,000 to pay off our debt and $2.5 million to complete the build out and pavilion along with added parking and furnishings. This will increase our building from 4500 sq ft to 11,000 sq ft for all our ministries
The auditorium seating will increase from 100 to approx. 200 seats and the Children/youth area will increase by 4000+sq ft.
The $3 Million comes from $500,000 to pay off our debt and then 2.5 million which will pay for the expansion. Our desire is to raise half of the $2.5 (1.25 million) before we start construction. Join us in making a BIG IMPACT for God's Kingdom!!!
DISCERNING GOD’S WILL TO GIVE BY FAITH AND NOT BY REASON
Giving by Faith happens when you decide to give an amount that will require God’s help to fulfill. There is no greater investment than to invest in God’s Kingdom in the task of sharing the Good News and how Jesus can change lives. This is a privilege to be a part of what God is doing in JC3. We are impacting lives and our families every day and today you have the opportunity to be able to make a greater impact to bless our children, community, and future generations.
“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”- 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
For the next 24 months, we are asking you to make a special generous and sacrificial commitment to the “Daring Faith Building Fund” above and beyond so that TOGETHER we can accomplish this goal. The Daring Faith Commitment allows you to make a one-time gift and or a 24-month giving commitment. Please note this is separate from the regular giving/ tithing that supports our ministries and operational budget for the year.
Here are some practical ways and questions to seek clarity in the giving that pleases God and grows you! Our theme is “Equal Sacrifices, Not Equal Gifts.”
1. Pray about what and how to give an amount that will stretch your faith more than ever. Trust that God will help you in this decision. Decide whether you will give by reason or by faith- Is my gift what I think I can afford or is it a genuine sacrifice?
2. Will this amount demonstrate how much you love Christ and His church and invest in advancing the mission of our Lord Jesus to the unbelievers? Will this amount express a level of thanksgiving for how JC3 has blessed you, and helped you grow to be Christ-like?
3. Invite your family, talk about your contribution, and do this together out of Thanksgiving. Bring in creative ideas from everyone to reduce expenses, increase income, and sell personal items. PRAY as a family in this commitment!
Thank you for believing that God is sovereign and in control of all our lives and the resources He has blessed us with. As graciously the Father has given His Son for us, let us offer a gift that will honor and please our God.
“Everything comes from the Lord. All things were made because of him and will return to him. Praise the Lord forever! Amen” -
CREATIVE WAYS TO GIVE GENEROUSLY
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
1. Eliminate all eating out--- JUST 1 month!
Eliminate (fast food, Starbucks, sodas, cigarettes, etc.) for the next one month and you can easily save that toward a one-time gift or giving commitment.
2. Hold a garage sale.
You probably have a garage or closet full of unused items that could be converted
into cash.
3. Spare Change.
Have everyone in your family locate the spare change in your house and begin collecting it all in one giant bank.
4. Sell stocks, funds, or bonds OR make your crafts and sell them.
5. Involve your children & youth.
Ask them how they could be involved, what they could do – yard work, lemonade stands, babysitting, etc.
5. Set up recurring giving!
With the free Church Center app, you can set up recurring donations, view your past donations, and more from your mobile device. Pro-tip: use bank-to-bank ACH giving to maximize your gift and reduce fees. Get the app for Android or iOS.
DARING FAITH GIVING OPPORTUNITIES:
Money Wall:
At any time, you can take an envelope with stickers (numbered 1-1000, each number representing the respective dollar amount) on the Money Wall in our lobby area and give toward breaking the wall of debt which is close to $500,000. As your generous giving comes in, you will see blocks of the wall in the auditorium area being removed.
Daring Faith Giving Commitment Cards (will be released May 26, 2024)
Together we will all turn in our First Sacrificial Offering & our Giving Commitment Card on Sunday, June 9th, and any time afterwards! We encourage you to prayerfully consider how much of an offering (a one- time) and a pledge amount to give, spreading over the next 24-months, in addition to your regular tithe. Place the Commitment Card in the offering basket or mail it in so your gift can be included in the Daring Faith total.

Got Questions?
Q: I’ve attended JC3 for some time now and have appreciated the fact that our church does not do constant “fundraising.” Instead, you’ve just clearly taught us what the Bible says about giving. What is the difference between a “fundraising” campaign and a “giving” campaign like “Daring Faith”?
A: A BIG difference! The purpose of a “giving” campaign is to challenge each of us to give out of our OWN resources. In a “fundraising” campaign, you collect money from someone else by selling them a product or service. A giving campaign always results in personal spiritual growth – a fundraising campaign just raises money. The “Daring Faith” campaign is designed to (1) Stretch your faith, (2) Build your hope in God’s promises, (3) Deepen your love for Christ & his church, and (4) Teach you Christlike generosity. By learning to sacrifice personally for the cause of Christ you will grow toward spiritual maturity.
Q: How will the money we raise be used?
A: The funds will go directly toward paying off our outstanding debt (around $500K) and building the next Phase of our Master Plan – expanding and renovating our JC3 Kids space, our auditorium/fellowship space, and construct an outdoor pavilion to host celebratory events such as baptisms, potluck events, and classes for children and groups. It is important to remember that our “Daring Faith” gifts are to be in addition to our regular giving for the on-going operation of the church. Otherwise, our day-to-day ministries would suffer.
Q: Is this Daring Faith Campaign for everybody?
A: We desire and pray in God’s will for our entire church family stepping out in faith together, accomplishing something great for God, witnessing the many miracles in people’s lives when they put their faith in action, rejoicing in the countless souls that will be saved in the process because God draws people to Himself at a church that walks by faith, and enjoying the unity we will experience as everyone dares to trust God. Those are the real results, not simply a building. That’s what the adventure of the Christian life and what this church is all about. There is no pressure if you cannot financially jump in right now. There are several serving, missional and life group opportunities for you to grow and build relationships.
Q: I feel ambiguous about church buildings and hesitant towards giving right now to the “daring faith building fund” at JC3.
A: JC3 has been mobile for 17 years before we moved into the current building in 2013. We believe that having a stable place and location has allowed us to reach more for Christ and for us to be a part of the community. We are not building the expansion to add status or focus on the “size” of the building. We believe that we are the church, and the building is only a helpful tool to attract the groups we wouldn’t be able to otherwise. The need to expand is especially with the fact that we are a growing family and there is a rise of young families and children. Our children’s classes are very small to grow more! We also hold many groups, almost every day, and we fill every inch square of our existing building. If you have any financial or other concerns, please reach out to us at any time.
Q: WHEN and HOW do I make my commitment?
A: Together we will all turn in our First Sacrificial Offering & our Commitment Card on Sunday, June 9th and any time afterwards! First you need to decide how much of an offering you’ll give. Then decide the amount you pledge to give in addition to your cash gift over the next 24 months. Write both of those amounts on your Commitment Card, add them together for a total, (cash + pledge) and sign your Commitment Card. Place the Commitment Card in the offering basket or mail it in so your gift can be included in the Daring Faith total.
Q: WHAT options do I have to give to Daring Faith?
A: You can give in multiple ways (online, mobile app, check, and cash).
-Online: Giving online through our website (https://www.jccchurch.com/give) to the “Daring Faith Building Fund” is easy and secure. You can manage the amount and frequency of giving one time or regularly (weekly, monthly, or twice-monthly)!
-Church Center mobile app: With the free Church Center app, you can donate, view your past donations, and more from your mobile device. Get the app for Android or iOS.
-Check: You can write a check and designate “Daring Faith Building” in the memo.
-Cash: You can use our special colored envelopes to make your cash gifts (be sure to put your name on the envelope so we can record your donation on your giving statement).
Q: Will I be able to change my 24- month commitment if I need or want to?
A: Of course! Unforeseen circumstances may cause you to want to increase or decrease your giving commitment in the future. At any time during the 24 months all you’ll need to do is ask for another commitment card and turn it in with your revised commitment!
Q: Is it OK to make a commitment to give an amount that I don’t have right now?
A: Yes! That is called FAITH! It pleases God (Hebrews 11:6).
Q: When will we begin the building expansion?
A: We hope to break ground sometime in the beginning of 2026. Our goal is to first pay off the current building debt and raise 50% of the money needed for the expansion.
Q: Can each member of our family make a separate commitment?
A: Yes! Even young children can learn the values of commitment, generosity, faith, and sacrifice by signing their own commitment card. Extra cards will be available.
Q: Will my commitment be kept confidential?
A: Absolutely.
We are sure many other questions will arise during our Giving Campaign. Please feel free to bring any giving questions or concerns to the attention of Darren - darren@jccchurch.com.
