HOW TO PRAY TO OUR MULTI-DIMENSIONAL GOD

40 Days of Prayer – Part 4

April 6, 2025   Priya Monsi

Invitation to a Covenant Relationship and an Eternal Kingdom!

1. LOOKING BACKWARD TO THE CROSS

The Cross Reminds Me: God’s great love demonstrated while I was still His enemy, forgiving all my past, present, and future sins, and redeeming me to Himself through the sacrifice of the perfect Lamb

Jesus’ Perfect Sacrifice -1 Peter 1:18-19: For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.

Encountering A Son’s cry- Matthew 27:46 Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?”

(Which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”)

REPENT Jesus is my Lord & my Savior!

Jesus, as I look at the cross, forgive me for my sin that put you there. Thank you for dying in my place and giving me yourself. Amen

2. LOOKING UPWARD TO MY FATHER’S LOVING FACE

Experiencing the Awe of a Loving Father: We can approach God with confidence, knowing we are His beloved children. He loves and delights in me as He does with His Son, Jesus. I am His treasure.

Romans 8:14-17: For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you

received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought

about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”  16  The Spirit himself testifies with

our spirit that we are God’s children.  17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-

heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

  • Partnership: By His Spirit

  • Passionate: We Cry

Receive the Love of the Good Father.

Heavenly Father, thank You for adopting me as Your child into Your family and for showing me such

great love. Thank You for Your Son and for His Spirit living in me forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen

3. LOOKING FORWARD IN FAITH TO THE FUTURE

Expectantly Living Through The Spirit- The Holy Spirit, our Advocate, teaches and transforms

us to become more like Christ, bearing fruit, glorifying the Father, and preparing us for His

return.

John 14:3-4 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that

you also may be where I am.  4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

John 11:25-26: “I AM the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even

though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?

Rejoice in the Glorious Future and Return of my King, Jesus

Holy Spirit, thank You for never leaving me and for helping me grow more like Jesus every day. Thank

You, Jesus, for preparing a place for me and reminding me that life here is not all there is—You are my

Life, my Glory, and my Resurrection. Father, thank You for Your covenant that welcomes me into Your

eternal presence. Amen.

Our prayer journey is ONE of Union with God:

  • Looking back at the cross where our oneness with God was sealed.

  • Looking upward to the Father, experiencing the intimacy and oneness made possible through the

Holy Spirit.

  • Looking forward in faith to the glory of complete oneness with Christ when He returns.
